"Do you understand the rules of the creative process---or do things happen to you by chance, as a fluke? IT'S YOUR MOVE! enables the listener of this fine audio book to initiate change and then channel that change to your benefit. We hear "Your conditioning causes you to be unaware, not only of the beliefs that underlie your choices, but also of the source of your beliefs. It causes you to be asleep most of the time, unaware of the genesis of any of your experiences."
Husband and wife team John Dean and Dannye Williamsen have given us the tools, all twelve of them, in this delightful, friendly, helpful and sincere 5 CD set. The result is a pragmatic approach to self-transformation that integrates goal setting with esoteric interpretations of the Creation story and the twelve disciples.

We learn that the creative process is always working. You can't decide to turn it on one minute and off the next. It's fully operational every second of your life! Authors John Dean and Dannye Williamsen teach us how to consume life, not be consumed by it! In this reviewer's opinion, this fine CD set contains an awakening to self-satisfaction, power and happiness!" - Metaphysical Reviews, Richard Fuller, Senior Editor
Do not be fooled by the title. This is more than simply a business and abundance coaching program, examples of which I have always found hard to stomach. The objective here is Transformation. When something entirely intuitive suggested I give it a listen, I was heartened and relieved to find myself quickly intrigued.
This spiritually-based program is cumulatively and cohesively structured and presented in 5 CDs, by the authors, John Dean and Dannye Williamsen. The content and presentation are accessible, candid, and unpretentious. There is a lot of information here, though. At times it felt a bit heady and warranted repeated listening.
It’s Your Move! begins with an overview of the Seven Days (or steps) of Creation from Genesis, and how these metaphorically equate with the stages of any Creative process, which, in humans, can be conscious or unconscious. This program seeks to educate and empower us to make the process – and consequently our lives -- more conscious and positive.
The Williamsens profess to have drawn from a number of sources and philosophies in developing the process presented; these include both fundamental and more mystical Christianity, Buddhism, and psychology. However, the insights are predominantly anchored in a refreshing “metaphysical Christianity,” which offers profound and fascinating explanations of Scriptural metaphors.
A wealth of insight and information is offered, making the program worth listening regardless of the listener’s diligence in applying tools provided. - Mt. Shasta Magazine, Michou Landon, Reporter
This labor of love is an ambitious work offering introspective concepts integrating goal setting with metaphysical interpretations of the creation story as a means for understanding our own creative process - and - what gets in the way. Their overall intention is to assist listeners in moving to a higher level of consciousness. It's a feast of information to be savored a bite at a time. - Patricia McShane-Gearhart, Rainbow Connections
It takes you outside your normal view of your day to day life and inspires you to look further on your own. The added bonus is that you will want to listen to it again and again. Every time I do, I have a new experience. In my humble opinion, if you are tired of living inside the 'box', and you are ready to live out your dreams, this is a great place to start! - J. Jackson
...the most comprehensive offering in new thought in decades! - Karen Diehl
It would be difficult to find another approach to self-transformation that is this pragmatic. The Williamsens integrate goal setting with esoteric interpretations of the Creation Story and the disciples from the Bible. It is a stimulating approach that provokes within you a new relationship to the scriptures. You will never be able to look at them again without the psychological implications struggling to rise to the surface for you.
The presentation of the information is given by one of the authors – John Dean Williamsen. His tone is friendly, sometimes humorous, and always sincere. Every time I slid a CD into the player, it was like settling down to call an old friend on the phone. I am used to the rah-rah-sis-boom-bah! approach taken by so many motivational programs, and this was a welcome and rewarding change!
Kudos to Dannye and John Dean Williamsen for their eclectic approach to spiritual growth and for their intent.
In the preface to the booklet, they describe it best: The importance of teaching is not to force feed information or dictate perspective. It is akin to giving you a colorful travel brochure with lots of pictures and editorial comments about the experience of traveling there. It doesn’t mean you will decide to go there. It doesn’t mean your experience will match the one in the brochure if you do. The travel brochure simply offers you the perspective of the one who prepared it. It may be that you not only travel there, but your experiences exceed your wildest dreams! Who can say? Only you! - Jackie Thetford

..once in a great while a book presents itself that brings a new dimension to all the things I've already learned and love. Dannye's book, "Metaphysical Minute" is that once in a while find for this place in time. It confirms the belief I have always held...that I am a spiritual being having a human experience. Thank you Dannye for a wonderful read, a book to go back to and to pass on to others with the knowing it's a very good gift.
[Metaphysical Minute is] different, more profound, just takes you to another level of grasping or connecting with your core.
I will reread this book many times. It's actually written in a manner to become a daily guide for staying connected with self and all the core things that matter most. - Bea Kunz, Sage Hill Farms & Vintage Store
My "Chicken Soup" for Spiritual and Personal Growth: METAPHYSICAL MINUTE - PHILOSOPHY ON THE RUN by Dannye Williamsen is a wonderful tool if you are looking for personal and spiritual growth. This book contains a collection of essays that are not, by any means, a fast, easy read, but an intensely deep, thought provoking look at the way we, as people, look at situations surrounding us and the way we deal with them. I highly recommend reading one essay at a time and then taking time to ponder on the message within it.
On a very personal note, I found that I've actually started to reevaluate the way I look at different situations. An example of this happened just yesterday. I had an altercation with someone that I love dearly. This is something that has happened time and time again throughout our relationship over the exact same thing.
Have you ever found yourself in a position where you walk into someone's personal space and can instantly feel the intense negativity surrounding them? Well, if you had been a mile away from me, you'd have felt it pouring out of me. Once I got through the initial "mad" I was feeling, I opened METAPHYSICAL MINUTE and went directly to the essay that dealt with what I happened to be going through. I read through it several times, stilled myself, and started to examine how I was reacting to the situation.
I'm not proud of the fact that initially, all I could think of was getting her back for what she had done as a way to try to make her understand what she had put me through. After reading this particular essay, I feel I have the tools to deal with this situation now and in the future with a more positive outlook. I know in my heart, this same situation will arise again because I can't change someone else, but I also now know that I can change how I react to it. After I really started to understand that, my whole outlook changed. I had worked myself up into a frenzy, made myself ill over it, and initially said some very damaging things to this person that I love dearly. Now, I feel I have the tools to move forward from this argument, pull the positive from it, and move on. Hopefully, when this happens again in the future, I will be able to put what I've learned through these essays to use immediately and have a completely different outcome. Maybe, just maybe, by reacting differently to this, the other person involved will see the difference and make some changes as well.
Dannye, You never cease to amaze me. You take very difficult concepts to understand and give such vivid examples to help someone like me grab hold of the concept and move forward to apply it to my everyday life. - Sandy Wolters, Sandy's Spotlight
The Seasons Of My Soul
The Seasons of My Soul is a look inside the life of the author, Dannye Williamsen. Even though it is her personal thoughts on events that have taken place in her life - the emotions, trials and experiences can also relate to the reader. Dannye's thoughts on life's challenges, love, friendship and dealing with change echo some of the questions and challenges I have faced as well.
I really liked the way she introduced each poem with the date and the circumstances surrounding the piece. The first entry is from her teenage years and each successive poem follows her as she ages. Each poem can lead the reader to reflect on his/her past and to realized he/she has accomplished more than originally thought. It's a great way to get to know yourself. - Greta Burroughs
Let me just start this review out by saying that I do not read poetry. I've never much cared for it, and I've never really understood it. I know that it touches many people, but it's never touched me. With that out of the way, one of my favorite authors, Dannye WIlliamsen, has published The Seasons of My Soul, a book of poetry that she's written throughout her life.
I picked this book up because I'm such a fan of Ms. Williamsen's paranormal reads. She has a beautiful writing style that keeps the reader captivated, so I thought I'd give it a go. I must say that I was more than pleasantly surprised by the poems in this book. Maybe it's because of the way they are presented. Ms. Williamsen makes this a very personal undertaking by describing events that were happening in her life when she stopped to take the time to write these poems. Maybe it's that format that made this such a beautiful read to me, why I was able to understand and feel the words so much more than other poetry I've tried to read. I was able to relate to many of the poems because all of us have found ourselves in many of the situations that Ms. Williamsen was in when taking pen to paper and writing these very thoughtful and at times heart wrenching thoughts about ebbs and flows in our lives.
The thing that made me happiest about this book of poems was the feeling I had after I read it. I was filled with hope that even though I may revert to my old way of thinking, there will come a time when I will be able to move forward again in a positive light.
Even if you are like me and do not normally read poetry, this is a wonderful read and I highly recommend it. - Sandy Wolters
The 4 Cs Of Problem-Solving
Packed with profound insights and easy-to-use strategies for gaining perspective and resolving many of life's most trying problems. The tools are simple yet powerful. You can start using the 4 Cs immediately. I did. - Murray Fuhrer
I now use this system provided by John Dean Williamsen to rise above a challenge and resolve it versus allowing my emotions to overtake my valued time and energy. John carefully explains how to put 'The 4 Cs method' into practice and make it a tool one can use daily, both personally and in business, no matter how small or large the challenge. - Janet Kempe
I'm a worrier. It's something I've done my entire life. In the past, problems have literally dragged me down and overwhelmed me. I just can't seem to move past them. When I finally feel as though a problem has been resolved, it seems to pop up again. The players may be different, but the root problem always seems to be the same.
The first time I listened to The 4 Cs of Problem-Solving, it gave me hope. My entire being felt lighter because I was actually being given a step-by-step game plan to solve problems and move on. It also changed my viewpoint on what a problem actually is. Now that I'm looking at my problems in an entirely different light, I feel as though I actually now have the tools to confront them and move on. I'm not fooling myself into thinking that using these four Cs is going to be an easy task. It's not. It's a difficult process but well worth the energy.
Through the revelations I've learned listening to this seminar, I know now that problems are actually opportunities for growth. Now that I've learned to look at problems in a more positive light, I feel pretty confident about tackling the 4 Cs and actually moving through my problems instead of floundering in them and never really moving past them.
I've listened to this seminar time and time again. Each time, I hear something new and different. If you are like me and have difficulty managing or solving problems, I highly recommend this seminar. I've found it very helpful and will use these tools I've been given the rest of my life. This seminar has been life altering for me and I'm so grateful to have this knowledge. - Sandy Wolters
Life Untwisted - Targeting Your Potential With A Fearless Attitude
"I'm loving your book - Life Untwisted … I'm learning a lot about myself. I'm reading a passage a day, and sometimes focusing on a single passage for two days. I really like how you put these concepts into terms that everyone can understand. I'm kind of hardheaded at times, but the way you've written it, by giving everyday examples is brilliant! I think this book is going to help a lot of people!" - Sandy Wolters
